Sethness Company Water Storage Tank Fabrication

The Sethness Company needed JCC’s expertise to design and fabricate a large 45,000 gallon water storage tank, used for potable water storage.

Our team fabricated the water tank from 3/8″ thick A-36 carbon steel and was 13 feet in diameter and 45 feet in length.  The assembly included support saddles, access hatches and piping connections.  The seams that the team welded  had to be full penetration and tested for any leaks before the tank could be sandblasted and painted.

Due to the large size of this water tank, our fabrication team arranged for a special use truck trailer, special routing and escorts to its delivery destination in Clinton, Iowa.
