Badger State Ethanol Dust Collection System Design, Fabrication and Installation

Client:  Badger State Ethanol

Project Location:  Monroe, WI

Project Fee:  $363k

This comprehensive industrial fabrication project required the measurement, design, fabrication and installation of round and rectangular ductwork, chutes, spouts, supports and tanks for Badger State Ethanol.  The project was a very large addition to their existing ethanol plant in Monroe, Wisconsin.

JCC provided the necessary manpower and equipment to meet the expedited schedule, which included starting within 10 days of receiving the order, and working long days and weekends that mounted to the following impressive technical specifications:

  • 200 Engineering hours
  • 1200 Fabrication hours
  • 2000 Installation hours
  • 140 Painting hours
  • 30,000 pounds of carbon steel, galvanized steel and stainless steel used in the fabrication

Though this is not the largest project that JCC has had the pleasure of working on, it does demonstrate our versatility, providing high quality fabrication from many types of grades of steel sheet, plate and structure.  As they proved yet again on this project, our experienced and skilled crews can safely erect the process equipment, ductwork, chutes and spouting that connects to it while meeting or coming in under our client’s deadlines.
